Introduction
Dancing Dolls in a Starry Sky
41min. Color Japanese | 1988 Japan
After sensing someone in need of help, Mami discovers a small puppet theatre company about to cancel a performance at a nursery due to a shortage of manpower. Mami steps in and the performance is a success. Mami is charmed by the theatre, but even her psychic powers can't solve its members' real-life problems. Is it pointless to dream? Mami faces up to the harsh reality of the grown-up world.

Episode 54: Dandelion Coffee
25min. Color Japanese | 1987~1989 Japan
Mami visits her father's friend at Mt. Yatsugadake. She enjoys his dandelion coffee, but his son, Akihiko, wants to return with Mami to Tokyo. Mami's meddling causes a fight between the father and son, who storms out to the forest at night. Keiichi Hara wrote the original screenplay for this episode, which has a special place in his heart from among the two-year-long TV series.

Episode 96: We are TONBI

Mami meets four students attempting to fly a man-powered aircraft by the river. Their attempt fails, but they cheerfully plan to try again despite being busy studying for exams and moving house.
